This program is open only to students at Highcrest School.
In this interactive 5-week program kids (and hopefully some parents) will go on a walking field trip to see real chickens at Mrs Aglieco's house. They will use pumpkin to make pumpkin pancakes and kale to make smoothies. The kids will use a foley food mill to mash up and strain cooked apples into delicious apple sauce and last but not least the kids will shell sunflower seeds to add to their maple-flavored oatmeal. We will also do a fun craft which will most likely be a fairy house that they will work on at the end of each class.
