Students will explore the world of robotics, coding and engineering using the popular mBot robot car. Each week, students will learn how to design, build and program their own mBot to perform fun and challenging tasks, from obstacle avoidance to line following and light sensing. Students will learn introduction to mBots, block based coding with mBlock software, moving and controlling the car with lights, sounds and motion. Students will program sensors, avoid obstacles and follow lines. Students will demonstrate what they have learned on their last day! Come join the fun.

Skyhawks provides a wide variety of fun, safe and positive programs that emphasize critical lessons in sports and life, such as teamwork, respect and sportsmanship. Programs will give each child a positive introduction into sports while fostering a lifelong love for an active, healthy lifestyle. Students will take part in a variety of skill-building games and activities to give each athlete a complete understanding and overview of many different popular sports and games. Sports and games include capture the flag, soccer, ultimate frisbee, basketball, kickball, baseball, 4 square, flag football, team handball and many more. Kids will play 2-4 different games/sports each week.

Each class is unique and helps students build confidence, coordination, and self-expression through guided movement activities, rhythm games, and simple choreography. Students explore teamwork, body awareness, and healthy ways to express emotions through movement, creativity, and musicality in a fun and supportive environment.

Through fun, hands-on activities, campers will test their senses, navigate mazes, explore movement and balance, investigate light and shadows, and discover how animal senses compare to our own. Interactive challenges encourage curiosity, teamwork, and STEM exploration.

Reuse magazines to create original, colorful images. Use cast-off wood blocks to design toys inspired by Uglydolls, the whimsical creations of the Korean/American couple Sun-Min Kim and David Horvath. Create some creepy, crawly fun with a spider sculpture while learning about noted French artist Louise Bourgeois. Combine nature and art with animal print sculptures and enliven the day with a sports art poster. What is your favorite sport?

Beginners and those who have never played are also welcome. Learn all the basic moves of the chess pieces, their values, piece interaction, and how to win (checkmate).

Each session is packed with engaging projects like arts and crafts, classic board games, outdoor games, and interactive group challenges. Kids will explore their creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, all while having fun in a relaxed, tech-free environment. Whether they are painting, crafting, or playing, this club encourages kids to discover new interests and connect with friends face-to-face.

In this interactive 5-week program kids (and hopefully some parents) will go on a walking field trip to see real chickens at Mrs Aglieco's house. They will use pumpkin to make pumpkin pancakes and kale to make smoothies. The kids will use a foley food mill to mash up and strain cooked apples into delicious apple sauce and last but not least the kids will shell sunflower seeds to add to their maple-flavored oatmeal. We will also do a fun craft which will most likely be a fairy house that they will work on at the end of each class.

Each week, students will dive into Pokémon with themed games, art, strategy, and teamwork. Designing their own Pokemon, solving math and logic challenges, learning card game basics, and earning badges for effort, kindness, and leadership.

Banished by the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan, a human boy named Mowgli and his panther friend, Bagheera, are on the run in the deepest parts of the jungle. On their journey, the two meet a sinister snake named Kaa, a herd of elephants, and a giant bear named Baloo, who teaches them the swingin' musical rhythms of the jungle. After surviving a dangerous encounter with a band of monkeys led by King Louie, Mowgli and Bagheera are forced to run for their lives. When Shere Khan returns, our heroes must rally their fellow animals into battle and restore peace throughout the jungle. Experience auditioning for a role, be coached through the rehearsal process, and work as an ensemble singing, dancing, and acting to produce a play. All workshops, rehearsals, tech, and performances are mandatory.
