Young artists will learn inventive ways on how to create multi-media art on canvas by mixing painting, collage, drawing and modeling compound techniques. Grab your paintbrushes and pour the paint! Get inspired by painters from around the world while you create animal portraits from Australia and Folk art from Mexico. Learn how to use impressionist techniques to create your own Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Get ready to travel the world and create art!

Participants will gain a general understanding of Hydroponic Farming, its benefits, and the science behind the Kratky method, a non-circulating, no-electricity approach ideal for beginners. Participants will create their own painted Bokit growing container, plant their seedlings, and leave with instructions on how to maintain their herb in the windowsill "Herb Jar" at home. All materials, including beginning seedlings and fertilizer will be supplied.

Join us if you want more dance time or just want to try something new. You will work with staff to try different styles. Put on a short show during the last day of the program. Bring a small snack and water bottle.

Rhyme, sing, play, and create with songs and rhymes! Our favorite rhymes come to life through art in the creative hands of the preschoolers! Sing songs and make a 3D spaghetti collage. Create a textured ant hill. Imagine climbing aboard a colorful freight train and visit the market in the creative world of Camp Rhyme-A-Lot!

Get ready for a creative adventure where STEM and Art collide in the most POP-tastic ways. In this camp art jumps off the page. Students will explore creative art projects that sparkle, spin, pop and glow. We will create anaglyph images, design a rocket lava lamp, draw on expanding sponges and create monsters that pop right out of our imagination! Plus, we will paint our own neon light signs and spin paper toys that transform into dazzling designs right before our eyes. We will have fun from the beginning to the end, inspired by Op artist Olimpia Zagnoli, Neo-Folk artist Kristin Farr, Lothar Meggendorfer famous for his pop-up books and Kasing Lung whose plush toys became a pop culture icon around the world! Using our wild imaginations and cool STEAM tricks. Every day will bring a new surprise!

Participants will create their own Bokit growing container, plant their seedlings, and leave with instructions on how to set-up and maintain their Bokit at home. All materials, including beginning seedlings and fertilizer will be supplied. Bokits come in a 14 gallon size, producing 15 heads of leafy greens at a time or a 5 gallon size that produces 4 heads at a time.
