Our Adult Social club is an ongoing program that features a wide variety of activities throughout the year. For additional information, contact Jahlim Cuttino, Therapeutic Recreation Supervisor at 860-721-2765.

Open to participants with intellectual disabilities and their peers. Activities will take place at the putting green, driving range, and flat nine.

Teen Scene offers teens with special needs a welcoming and supportive environment to connect with peers and enjoy a variety of engaging activities. Participants will take part in sports, creative arts such as painting, and exciting field trips designed to promote socialization and fun. Weather permitting, teens will also enjoy swimming at Willard Pool.
Participants should bring a packed lunch, bathing suit, and towel each day. All field trip costs are included in the program fee.

Camp Pitkin provides youth with special needs a fun, supportive environment filled with engaging activities. Campers will participate in a variety of sports, games, arts and crafts, and exciting field trips designed to promote social interaction, creativity, and active play. Weather permitting, we will also enjoy swimming at Willard Pool.

Summer Adventures offers campers with special needs a fun, supportive, and engaging summer experience. Each day features a variety of structured activities, including games, sports, arts and crafts, music, and exciting field trips designed to encourage socialization, creativity, and physical activity. Weather permitting, campers will also enjoy swimming at Willard Pool.

Campers enrolled in any Therapeutic recreation summer program can extend their day an hour. Registration is available for individual weeks or the entire summer.

Open to participants with special needs and their peers, this inclusive bowling program provides a fun, supportive environment to build friendships, develop skills, and enjoy recreational competition.
Location: Bowl-O-Rama, Newington
Equipment Fee: $13.50 per week, payable directly at the bowling alley.
Unified Partners: All Unified Partners are required to complete and submit both a Class A Volunteer Form and a Unified Partner Form prior to participating.

Young adults will train their bodies, prepare their minds, and get their spirits soaring. Program includes cardio workouts, zumba and fitness room use as well as stretching, yoga, and "bootcamp" fun. Bring a water bottle and get ready to get fit.

The Unified Special Olympics Basketball program provides athletes and Unified Partners with the opportunity to develop basketball skills, build teamwork, and enjoy the game in an inclusive and supportive environment. Practices focus on skill development through drills and game play.
Practice Schedule:
Tuesday: 6:00- 7:15 PM
Thursday: 5:30- 6:45

Kids and young adults will be actively involved in different activities depending on the day. Activities such as fitness, sports, arts & crafts, dance, yoga and much more.
